30 Rock, is a drama series which moves around a comic who stars in a late night comedy show called named ‘The Girlie Show’. 30 Rock is an Emmy award winning comedy series where Liz Lemon is the head writer who works hard to keep her job on ‘The Girlie Show’. She also wants to keep her sanity while dealing with the network and the co-stars.
Tina Fey aka Liz Lemon is the creator and executive producer of the series. Jack Donaghy, a novice network executive is the man, with whom she’s trying to run the show successfully and whose previous experience had been confined to the officers of network’s owners. Things do take a drastic change when her old boss dies and a new boss comes. 30 Rock shows her routine tasks as she tries her best to run the show successfully with her patience and sincerity.
Series is a production of NBC studios in an association with Broadway video. Liz is forced to obey Jeck’s orders and under his command she’s compelled to hire an irresponsible movie comedian Tracy Jordan. Jordan’s intrusion upon the “Girlie Show” did not set well with lead comedian Jenna Maroney. That’s why Liz ends up not as a writer but as a referee.
Twist remains going on, how she’ll manage to run her dream successfully in totally destructive environment, all this is shown on the show. 30 Rock was premiered on October 11, 2006 and currently the series is running with its second season.
