30 Rock was premiered on 10-11-2006 and the opening episode of series was entitled ‘Pilot’. Season begins with Liz Lemon who’s a head writer at a very demanding live program in New York City. Everything seems good before the entrance of a wild and unpredictable movie star in the cast. Things start getting worst from worse and Liz struggles to bring everyone and everything together. Tracy also tries to bring everything in order. During this season, Liz goes on a blind date with Thomas. Jack passes through writers’ weekly poker game. Later on, Kenneth discovers that working for Tracy may be much more than he expected. Josh is given two black eyes by an angry Elizabeth Taylor. Valentine day comes. Pete forgets the holiday whereas Kenneth-Cerie begins an office romance. Jack forces Tracy to host the Source Awards. Tracy seeks spiritual fulfillment with help from Kenneth. Season finale ‘Hiatus’ was aired on 4-26-2007. On this season finale, Liz is trying to maintain her long distance relationship with Floyd. She must take Kenneth’s help in finding Tracy. On the other hand, Jack’s impending marriage with Phoebe brings his mother to town.

Kenneth and Jack are working together. Meanwhile, Jack finds out that another NBC executive is following him so he enlists Kenneth and Page’s help to keep his TV throne safe. Liz and Pete adjust to being roommates.

Liz Lemon, played by Saturday Night Live’s Tina Fey, is the head writer of The Girlie Show. When her old boss dies and a new boss comes in (Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy), demanding the addition of a volatile former movie star (and re-branding the show TGS with Tracy Jordan in the process), Liz must figure out how to keep things running smoothly without losing her mind.
