You guys must be thoroughly enjoying the comedy series 30 Rock, and, to add more twist to it, the producers have decided to bring back Elaine Stritch. In the forthcoming 30 Rock episodes, she’ll play the role of Colleen Donaghy, mother of Jack.

The character of Jack Donaghy is portrayed by none other than our beloved actor, Alec Baldwin. Colleen comes at the moment; Jack is dating two girlfriends, Avery Jessup and Nancy Donovan.

While talking about Colleen’s reaction to Jack’s affair, Elaine Stritch said, “She thinks he’s got to catch up for God’s sakes.” It’s quite sure that Colleen is going to deal with Avery and Nancy very strictly. It’ll be interesting to see whether Jack will be able to keep his mom away from his girlfriends.
